Lasting Impressions from the Adidas Circuit – May 21, 2025

28-Point-5 Scouting was courtside for both sessions of the Adidas Circuit this spring—first in Rock Hill, South Carolina, in April and most recently in Bryan, Texas, this month. We got an in-depth look at nearly every prospect on the 17U circuit and tracked many up-and-coming stars in the 16U and 15U divisions. Here is a selection of prospects who left a lasting impression.

Oliviyah Edwards – Northwest Greyhounds – 2026

Edwards is one of the most physically gifted prospects we’ve evaluated in nearly two decades of grassroots scouting. At 6-foot-3, she runs the floor like a wing but boasts the size and strength of a post player. She averaged 17 points and nearly eight rebounds per game over the two weekends. Perhaps most impressive was her efficiency, shooting 63% from the floor. Edwards is a consensus top-five prospect nationally, with college coaches from coast to coast calling.

Kate Harpring – Southeast All-Stars – 2026

You would be hard-pressed to find a fiercer competitor on the circuit than Harpring. She’s engaged in every possession on both ends of the floor. She checked in as the fourth-highest scorer in the league after two sessions, averaging 19 points per game. The best part of Harpring’s game is her shot creation in the midrange. She’s elite at shaking defenders left to right before elevating and finding unique angles to score. Her 51.7% field goal percentage is proof positive that she can score efficiently against some of the best in the country.

Kaleena Smith – 7 Days – 2027

Smith set the tone for the spring with a 37-point eruption in a win over Southeast Elite in her team’s opening game on the circuit. Over the two weekends, she averaged 19.6 points per game while shooting 54% from the field. The best part of Smith’s game isn’t found in the box score, however. She’s an exciting point guard primed to zip past defenders to make plays in the lane for herself or others. Don’t sleep on her 3-point shooting, either—she can make a sagging defender pay the price.

Peyton Jones – Hardwood Evolution – 2026

Jones finished as the top scorer on the circuit this spring, averaging 20 points per game. The 6-foot guard is a saucy play creator with the ball in her hands. She is asked to create a lot for her team, which may explain her modest field goal percentage. Nonetheless, she’s an ideal shooting guard who can move off screens and get shots within the framework of a college-oriented offense. She uses her length well to finish in traffic and adjusts her body to counter lunging defenders.

Nation Williams – Utah Lady Prospects – 2027

In terms of raw production, it’s hard to argue that anyone outperformed Williams, who averaged over 19 points and 8.5 rebounds per game while shooting north of 50% from the field. She draws fouls and earns a fair number of points from the free-throw line. Built as a prototypical power forward in the modern game, she can operate at either end of the hi-lo game. She is also skilled enough to create plays or facilitate at the top of the key. This allows her to play alongside a taller, rim-protecting center without clogging the lane in an antiquated two-post system. Yet, Williams is strong enough to anchor a team as the primary post if a team wants to play smaller. She only attempted nine 3-pointers over the two weekends but made five—an intriguing stat to watch as her development continues over the next year.
