Commitment Update: Kimora Fields to Clemson – April 1, 2025

Kimora Fields verbally committed to Coach Shawn Poppie and the Clemson Tigers last weekend. Fields is a decorated prep athlete from Cleveland, Tennessee. She led Bradley Central to their third consecutive championship in March and collected a number of accolades, including Tennessee’s Miss Basketball in Class AAAA, MaxPreps Player of the Year for the state, and was named the Class AAAA MVP at the TSSAA State Tournament.

Regarding her choice of Clemson, Fields had this to say: “With much prayer, I decided Clemson felt most like a family. They pride themselves on their culture. The community and team have been so welcoming and loving since meeting them.”

Fields also noted Coach Shawn Poppie’s impact at Clemson in his first year. “He has a great vision for what he wants to do with the program, and I want to be a part of that. The staff’s authenticity from the beginning was huge for me in making this decision.”

The 6-foot forward averaged 19.9 points and 7.1 rebounds this season for the Bearettes. Her touch and body control in traffic are elite skills that will translate to ACC play. Yet, before she suits up for the Tigers, Fields aims to accomplish even more before she graduates from high school.

“In the next 12 months, I hope to have won another state championship. I am aiming to expand my game as much as I can because I still have a lot of work to do. I pray that I am healthy and injury-free, as well as growing as a person mentally and spiritually.”

You can catch Fields on the Under Armour Circuit this spring with FBC United.
